Description

Paint the Town (http://paintthetowncincinnati.org/) is a community service event organized by Give Back Cincinnati in which volunteers work within a targeted neighborhood to paint owner-occupied homes for those physically or financially unable to do the work themselves. Paint the Town is a single day event that organizes more than 1,000 volunteers led by experienced team leaders to completely repaint a home’s exterior. Neighborhoods are chosen through a competitive process according to current needs. Paint the Town’s ultimate goal is to not only improve the appearance and value of each of the homes, but to impact the overall community.

Registration for Paint the Town's Make Up day (July 10th) is now open.

Saturday July 10th

Volunteers work in teams led by experienced team leaders to paint a house. If needed, houses are prepped for painting prior to the day of the event.

Volunteers are provided with breakfast, lunch, drinking water, a team T-shirt, and painting supplies. Volunteer sign-ups will take place in spring 2010.

Paint the Town has painted a total of 202 houses in the communities of College Hill, East End, Price Hill, Northside, Madisonville, Hartwell/Carthage and Covington ... and we're just getting started.
